How to Organise Any Room With Storage Bins

Merchant: Olviera Haven • Jaipur, Rajasthan • Support: concierge@olvierahaven.shop

Declutter before you sort

Bins organise; they don't reduce. Before filling them, remove what you don't need. Organising clutter just hides it — sort and donate first, then bin what's left.

The wardrobe

Use fabric bins on upper shelves for off-season clothes, and smaller bins inside drawers to separate socks, accessories and innerwear. Group by category so getting dressed is quick.

The kitchen & pantry

Wipeable bins corral packets, snacks and bottles into clear zones. Group similar items — all baking goods in one bin, all tea and coffee in another — so the shelf stays tidy and you can see what's running low.

The kids' room

Open, low bins let children tidy up themselves. Use one bin per toy type and add picture labels for pre-readers. Easy access means toys actually get put away.

The bathroom & utility

Small bins keep toiletries, cleaning supplies and spares grouped and easy to grab. Lidded ones keep dust off less-used items.

Label and zone

Across every room, the magic is the same: group like with like, give each bin one job, and label it. Zones make it obvious where things belong — and obvious systems are the ones that last.

Leave a little room

Don't overfill. A bin packed to bursting is hard to use and quickly becomes a mess again. A little slack keeps the system working.
